Product photo on white

Prepare one product image with a white background and consistent spacing.

JPG, PNG, or WebP · Up to 18 MB, 24 megapixels, and 8192 pixels per side.

Product image settings

Space on each side; the product stays centered and keeps its proportions.

Choose an image or drop it here. Transparent PNG and WebP cutouts work too.

The first background removal downloads a model of about 42 MB. Processing speed depends on your device.

Image processing stays in your browser. Large images are reduced for processing; downloads have a 1600-pixel long edge.

Replace the background with plain white

For an opaque product photo, the tool runs background removal in your browser and places the resulting cutout on a white canvas. An existing transparent PNG or WebP uses its alpha channel directly, so it does not need another segmentation pass. The product is resized proportionally, without generating a new shape, label, or design. Review fine edges, reflections, and translucent packaging because automatic removal can omit details.

Keep product images consistently framed

Choose a square, landscape 4:3, portrait 3:4, or product-proportion canvas. The margin control sets a minimum amount of empty space on each side, while the product stays centered and retains its width-to-height ratio. This makes it easier to prepare a series of individual catalog images with similar spacing. Transparent outer padding is removed before the product is placed on the new canvas.

Preview and download without an account

The white preview updates when you change the layout. Choose JPG for a compressed photo file or PNG for lossless encoding of the composed result; both downloads have an opaque white background. Output has a 1600-pixel long edge. Large inputs are reduced to a working long edge of up to 2048 pixels, so this workflow does not preserve the full resolution of every source image. Use the Image Converter if you only need to change file formats.

Make a product photo white in 3 steps

1

Choose a product photo

Select one JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 18 MB, 24 megapixels, and 8192 pixels per side. A clear subject separated from its background is a useful starting point. Transparent cutouts skip background removal; an opaque photo needs the local model, which downloads about 42 MB on first use.

2

Set the canvas and spacing

Choose the aspect ratio and minimum margin. The tool centers the detected product on white without stretching it. Inspect the preview for missing parts or retained background, especially around glass, thin straps, and similar-colored objects.

3

Download and check the listing

Save the white-background result as JPG or PNG. Check the output dimensions, product appearance, and the current requirements of the shop or marketplace where you plan to use it. A white background alone does not guarantee listing approval.

Where a white product background helps

Online shop product cards

Prepare individual item photos with a similar ratio and margin for a more consistent collection grid. The tool works on one image at a time; review each product before publishing.

Catalogs and sales presentations

Place product cutouts on white for pages, slides, and price sheets. Use a portrait or landscape canvas to suit the space available while keeping the original product proportions.

Existing transparent product assets

Give transparent PNG or WebP files a solid white background without sending them through background removal again. For a transparent result instead, use the Background Remover.
