About PicEnhancer

PicEnhancer is a browser-first image toolkit for quick everyday fixes and more demanding AI-assisted work. Its 23 public tool pages are available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.

A browser-first image toolkit

The product follows a practical rule: keep routine image work on your device when a browser can handle it well, and use cloud AI only for jobs that need a generative model. This makes it clear which tools are local, which tools use credits, and when an image leaves your device.

Everyday work stays on your device

Photo enhancement, upscaling, unblurring, sharpening, background removal, format conversion, and cropping run locally in your browser. These individual local operations use zero credits and do not draw on any allowance.

Start with the Photo Enhancer, Image Upscaler, Background Remover, Image Converter, or Image Cropper.

Advanced work uses cloud AI

Text unblurring, prompt-based photo editing, image generation, photo restoration, photo colorization, illustration colorization, object removal, and glare removal use cloud AI. Each cloud tool shows its credit cost. Subscription plans draw on their daily allowance first, then subscription credits; without a subscription, purchased credits are used directly.

Explore the AI Photo Editor, Photo Restoration, AI Colorizer, or Magic Eraser.

A clear privacy boundary

Images used with local tools are processed in the browser and are not uploaded for image processing. Cloud AI is different: the source image is sent through PicEnhancer to a third-party AI provider, and generated outputs may be saved to account history or cloud storage. We state that distinction plainly so you can choose the right workflow for each image.

Familiar formats and clean downloads

PicEnhancer accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images, with the available exports and upload limit shown by each tool. PicEnhancer does not add a watermark to downloaded results.

Straightforward access and credits

Individual local-tool runs are not metered by credits or an allowance. Cloud AI always costs credits: subscription plans draw on their daily allowance first, then subscription credits; without a subscription, purchased credits are used directly. If a generation fails, its charge is returned. See Pricing for the current options.

Choose the workflow that fits

Use a local tool when speed, privacy, and a familiar image operation are the priority. Choose cloud AI when the job requires reconstruction or generative editing. Explore the photo tools and start with the workflow that matches your image.
